The taste is one that people either love or hate. To me it tastes like the essence of ocean. Reminds me of when I was a four-year-old living in Manhattan Beach, on the Strand, just across a narrow road from the beach and the Pacific beyond. Tastes like when I used to suck my ocean-tasting toes to lull myself to sleep at naptime. ;-)
