		<description><![CDATA[Next time you might consider heading south of Hwy 46 and  taking the tour of the Carrizo Plains.  A friend took the all-day tour recently, which included a short hike to see the petroglyphs in the area.  Lots  of websites of which this is one:http://tinyurl.com/ylca5oe   She said the scenery was breathtaking,  and the tour very interesting.
Lately every trip over Hwy 46 has been a delight,  wildflower-wise.  But I know the heat will come,  and all that&#039;s left will be memories of what was,  and expectation of next Spring...
